The Story
The brief was “unretouched ease”. Hair moved, light moved, the sitter laughed at the gulls — the frames kept all of it.
The Approach
We metered for the highlights and let the shadows fall where they wanted. Shooting into the sun with a fast prime gave the glow; patience gave the expression.
