Commissioned for a workwear lookbook, Denim Soul documents the makers of Dogpatch — machinists, roasters and woodworkers — in the clothes they actually labour in.

The Story
The hero frame was taken between shifts in a machine shop doorway. Available light, forty seconds, no second take needed: some faces arrive already composed.
The Approach
We photographed on location during real workdays, fitting sittings into breaks. Wardrobe was the subjects’ own; our only direction was “stand where you stand when you think”.
