Short Film Productions

Festival-ready shorts from script to premiere — intimate crews, real locations, and stories told in light before dialogue.

What this service entails

Cinema at a human scale

Short films are the studio's first love. We develop scripts with writers or from your own draft, then produce with crews of six to ten people — small enough to move fast through real locations, experienced enough to hold a festival-grade image.

Post-production is full and unhurried: edit, colour grade, sound design and mix, titles and festival deliverables including DCP. Eleven of our shorts have screened at regional festivals across the West Coast.
